Mastering the Machine webinar on the new Automation Academy community, I/O Central. As of this webinar the site is not branded yet and is a beta site, but people are already signing up and creating profiles. The community is open to anyone, but Academy members have some extra privileges; all members can enter their website address on their profile (this allows your profile to be a company name if you wish, where you can explain what you do). Gold members can create a Group, which includes a Forum. This allows members to invite other people to join their group and create a “one-page website”, advertising your services. There will also be featured groups and their icons at the top of the Activity Feed/landing page eventually.
I hope to make this a good benefit for Academy members who may not have a strong web presence. Invite your friends, anyone can join I/O Central!
